Introduction

The client faced a dramatic loss of visibility for dental implants services in Manhattan NYC: Dental Implants, Full-Mouth Dental Implants, Implant-Supported Dentures, and related topics.

Visibility in Google Search results decreased from page-1 to page-5 or worse.

In reviewing the client's web assets and competitor space, the following issues were identified:

The Execution

  • Removed competing signals & pages
    • Aligned on-page SEO signals with buyer-journey milestones reflected by client web pages
    • Removed overlapping content & on-page SEO signals from home page
    • Removed supporting pages with insufficient (thin) content
  • Consolidated subject coverage:
    • Deployed skyscraper-style content pillar for Dental Implants
    • Moved and adapted content from pruned pages into the new skyscraper page

As visibility strengthened, we later deployed new pages to cover sub-topics with more depth, such as hybrid implant dentures and all-on-x style restorations. These were structured to minimize overlap and internal linking referenced the skyscraper page to signal organization.
